Outpatient Addiction Treatment & Support

Forward Health is an outpatient treatment center that provides intensive outpatient, traditional outpatient and partial hospitalization treatment programs.

We help clients work through addiction, heal unresolved emotional trauma and develop essential tools needed to transform their lives.

Recovery is an ongoing process so it can feel overwhelming for those who are just starting. We encourage our clients to take one step at a time. It’s easier to take things slowly and focus on one thing, because with every step, you move closer to your ultimate goal – a life of sobriety.

All of our treatment services are outpatient, allowing individuals to live at home while receiving personalized care. However, we can recommend supportive living if needed, as we understand that not all people have structured living situations.

What is a Partial Hospitalization Program?

A partial hospitalization program, is a structured day program that provides several hours of individual and group therapy during the week. The goal is to reintegrate you into society while getting the help you need to overcome addiction.

Here are some benefits to participating in a partial hospitalization program:

Intensive Outpatient Program

Intensive outpatient programs are designed for people who need more support than regular outpatient programs but don’t require 24-hour care like inpatient rehab. IOPs typically involve attending therapy sessions 3 to 5 times a week, usually for a few hours each day – most IOPs offer about 12 hours of weekly therapy. This structure helps individuals address their mental health or substance use issues while allowing them to live at home and manage daily responsibilities like work or family.

IOPs use a mix of therapies to help people develop coping skills, manage triggers, and create healthy habits. Sessions often include individual counseling, group therapy, and family therapy, all led by licensed professionals. These programs may involve education about addiction or mental health, relapse prevention, and life skills training.

Outpatient Treatment

Outpatient rehab is a form of substance use treatment that allows clients to live at home (or in another safe, therapeutic environment) while receiving personalized, one-on-one care. They typically have flexible hours and various session times to choose from, including evenings and weekends.

To understand where outpatient care fits in, it helps to envision addiction treatment as a continuum. Most people start off with some type of detox program and then transition to residential or intensive outpatient treatment. Afterward, they step down to a lower level of care, which in this case, is a traditional outpatient program.

A standard OP is the least invasive type of care, and it focuses on helping clients change harmful behaviors related to their substance use. Medical services are generally not included, though treatment centers like Forward Health can link you up to these services through our intensive outpatient program.
