How We Treat

Forward Health is an outpatient treatment center that provides intensive outpatient, traditional outpatient and partial hospitalization treatment programs.

We help clients work through addiction, heal unresolved emotional trauma and develop essential tools needed to transform their lives.

Recovery is an ongoing process so it can feel overwhelming for those who are just starting. We encourage our clients to take one step at a time. It’s easier to take things slowly and focus on one thing, because with every step, you move closer to your ultimate goal – a life of sobriety.

All of our treatment services are outpatient, allowing individuals to live at home while receiving personalized care. However, we can recommend supportive living if needed, as we understand that not all people have structured living situations.

The treatment services we offer include:

Intensive Outpatient

Our intensive outpatient program (IOP) meets 3 to 5 days a week for several hours each day. We recommend this structured program to those who have completed detox and/or a residential treatment program.

Our traditional outpatient program (OP) is a step-down from our intensive outpatient program and meets several days a week. This program is flexible and allows clients to start transitioning to their normal routine.

A partial hospitalization program (PHP) is a day program that provides intensive group and individual therapy. It is a bridge between inpatient and outpatient treatment services for several hours each day, five days per week.

Telehealth Options

Telehealth options are available for those who reside in the community and need to be able to seek help remotely.

Telehealth PHP and IOP options allow our clients to continue with work or other obligations in their lives while also having the clinical structure available to progress. Initial intake process and screening must be done in person.
